Hiking and Nature
This area of Andalusia is renowned for its national parks and hiking. We're surrounded by hundreds of hiking trails that cut through the famous acorn forests whilst providing panoramic views of the white hilltop villages. There are a number of rivers which provide secluded swimming spots at the bottom of dramatic gorges.

For those who are looking for an active holiday La Colina has a number of options. We're a short drive from some of Spain's best golf courses. The local town offers both tennis and padel courts. Bicycles are available for hire. There are a number of horse riding options. Down on the coast is a selection of sailing, surfing and kite surfing schools.
Further Afield
There are regular ferries from Algeciras to Tangier (Morocco). The journey takes 40min, the ferry drops you with a 5min walk from the souk and old town. This can be done as a day trip (with an early start and late finish), or extended to an overnight stay.
